James Scott and Lewis Holsey will be the first Warriors players in action in 2022 as they turn out for Hartpury in Sunday’s Championship match against Nottingham at the Alpas Arena.
Lock Scott and loosehead prop Holsey are both on loan at Hartpury and have been named as replacements by the Gloucestershire club for their New Year fixture.
Scott was an unused replacement for Warriors in Wednesday’s Premiership Rugby Cup victory over Gloucester Rugby at Sixways while Holsey came off the bench early in the second half to make his first senior appearance in 16 months.
The Hartpury v Nottingham match is one of only two in the Championship to survive in a round of games ravaged by COVID-19-enforced postponements.
