Two tries for Tobi Wilson in Stourbridge win

Warriors full-back Tobi Wilson helped Stourbridge get their National Two North promotion campaign back on track by scoring a brace of tries in their 32-17 win over Chester at Stourton Park on Saturday.

Wilson, who made his Warriors debut in last month’s Premiership Rugby Cup win over Gloucester, topped and tailed the scoring by crossing for Stourbridge’s first try after eight minutes and their sixth after 66 minutes.

It could have been a hat-trick as Wilson crossed early in the game but had the try disallowed.

Two more members of the Three Pears Warriors Academy, lock Cheick Kone and flanker Jack Forsythe, helped Luctonians to and emphatic 32-14 win against Tynedale at Mortimer Park.

Kone and Forsythe, who also made his senior debut for Warriors against Gloucester, came off the bench and made an impact as Luctonians secured a bonus point win.

Warriors hooker Joe Richardson came out on top in a tussle with his club-mate Lewis Holsey as Coventry snatched a last-gasp 34-33 win against Hartpury in the Championship at the Butts Park Arena.

Richardson came on as a second half replacement for Coventry after loosehead prop Holsey came off the bench for Hartpury after 11 minutes.

Coventry were ahead 24-7 at one stage but required a last minute penalty from Tony Fenner to clinch victory after Hartpury fought back.
