Truby called up by Warriors Under-18s

Number eight Max Truby will make his debut for Warriors Under-18s in their final Premiership Rugby Under-18 Academy League Northern Conference match against the Yorkshire Rugby Academy at Castle Park in Doncaster on Saturday (kick-off 2.00pm).

Truby, of Old Swinford Hospital School and Stourbridge, played for Warriors Under-17s against Leicester Tigers at Sixways on Sunday.

Captain Theo Mayell moves from number eight to the openside flank to accommodate Truby who is one of two changes to the side beaten 35-28 by Leicester Under-18s at Sixways.

The other change to the side is on the right wing where Jack Kinder returns.

Tighthead prop Emmanuel Olaleye also comes into the squad for the first time as a replacement having impressed playing for the Under-17s on Sunday.

Warriors are sixth in the Northern Conference and need to beat Yorkshire, who have lost all five games so far, to have any chance of overtaking either Leicester or Wasps who meet on Saturday.

Finals Day will be staged at Sixways on Sunday February 27 when all 14 teams from both conferences will be involved in play-offs in seven matches on two pitches to decide the final placings.
