Van der Merwe and Sutherland to face Wales

Duhan van der Merwe and Rory Sutherland are both involved for Scotland in Saturday’s Guinness Six Nations match against Wales at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff (kick-off 2.15pm).

Wing van der Merwe and loosehead prop Sutherland both helped Scotland to open their campaign with a 20-17 win over England in the Calcutta Cup clash at Murrayfield last weekend.

The pair toured South Africa with the British and Irish Lions last summer and joined Warriors from Edinburgh Rugby before they departed for the trip.

Van der Merwe will win his 16th international cap – and 13th for Scotland – in Cardiff while Sutherland will earn his 18th Scotland cap and his 20th in international rugby if he comes off the bench on Saturday.
