Warriors will face a trip to France to play Lyon in the Round of 16 of the European Challenge Cup on Easter Weekend.
Warriors has a bye weekend in the final round of pool matches and had to wait on matches in Edinburgh, Newcastle and Biarritz to determine whether they would progress to the knockout stages and, if so, who they would be playing.
Edinburgh’s home win over Pau on Friday evening helped to secure Warriors’ passage to the last 16 as the best fourth-placed side from the three pools for a match which will be played on either April 15,16 or 17.
Biarritz’s 20-17 home win against Toulon and Newcastle Falcons’ last gasp 25-22 win against Zebre at Kingston Park then determined that Warriors will travel to the Matmut Stadium de Gerland for the first time for a place in the quarter-finals.
Details of the date and kick-off time for the Lyon match will be announced shortly.
