Warriors get in the swing with The Vale

Warriors have teamed up with the Vale Golf and Country Club where the Gallagher Premiership rugby club’s annual Golf Day will be staged later this week.

The Vale, situated at Bishampton near Evesham, is one of the major golf clubs in Worcestershire with two courses, including the championship International course, and a 14 bay floodlit driving range.

The Vale will host Warriors’ Golf Day on Wednesday April 13 and will also supply 100 tee times per year for Warriors players and staff as Official Golf Club.

As part of the agreement between the two sports clubs, the Vale will have four Silver Season Tickets at Sixways and the opportunity to promote the golf club at a Warriors home match.

“We look forward to working with Worcester Warriors in welcoming players and staff to our facilities for general play as well as supporting their official annual Golf Day,” said Ruud Hercik, Membership Manager at The Vale.

The Vale, like Warriors, are committed to tackling climate change and have a sustainability strategy which includes 2 roof solar installations and a wood pellet biomass boiler. The clubhouse is heated solely with renewable energy

“We are delighted that our annual Golf Day this year will be staged at The Vale,” said Gill Wood, Head of Partnership Delivery & Hospitality

“The Vale has some of the finest facilities in the county and our players and staff are looking forward to playing at such a prestigious venue.

“The Vale’s commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible consumption is shared by Warriors and having two sports clubs working together to tackle climate change can only be a force for good.”
