A crowdfunding page has been set up in memory of former Warriors and England lock Dave Sims who died suddenly last month at the age of 52.
Sims played for Warriors between 1999 and 2002 after more than a decade with Gloucester, his hometown club.
He subsequently played for Exeter Chiefs, Taunton and Wellington and worked as a groundsman at Exeter as well as coaching local clubs.
His funeral will take place at St Disen’s Church, Bradninch near Exeter on April 29 at 1pm. A live stream will be available.
The funeral will be followed by a wake at Taunton RFC where the funeral service will also be live streamed.
There will also be a Memorial Service for Dave Sims at Gloucester Cathedral on May 18 at 1.30pm and afterwards at Gloucester’s Kingsholm Stadium.
The crowdfunding page has been set up to raise £2,500 to give Dave Sims the send-off he deserves.
