South Africa international centre Francois Venter will return from an absence of almost three months for Warriors in Saturday’s Gallagher Premiership match against Wasps at the Coventry Building Society Arena (kick-off 3.00pm).
Venter has recovered from the calf injury he sustained at Leicester Tigers 12 weeks ago and comes straight back into the starting XV in place of Ashley Beck who has been ruled out by a sore knee.
Flanker Sam Lewis will make his first start in two months following his recovery from a dead leg. Lewis came off the bench in last week’s EPCR Challenge Cup match in Lyon.
Lewis is joined in the back-row by Kyle Hatherell, who starts at blindside with captain Ted Hill moving to the middle of the back-row at number eight and Joe Batley switching from blindside to the second row.
There are five more changes to the side that started in Lyon with Scotland international prop Murray McCallum, who impressed off the bench last week, named at loosehead.
Will Chudley and Billy Searle form a new half-back partnership with Perry Humphreys recalled on the right wing.
Tighthead prop Jack Owlett, who joined Warriors from Wasps last summer, is in line to face his former club off the bench.
Lock Andrew Kitchener is also named as a replacement having recovered from the head injury he sustained at London Irish eight weeks ago.
