Renato Giammarioli, one of Warriors new recruits for the 2022/23 season, has been included in Italy’s matchday squad for their final international of the summer against Georgia in Batumi on Sunday (kick-off 7pm BST).
The back-row forward won his first cap as a Warriors player when he came off the bench in last Friday’s victory over Romania and he has again been named as a replacement for the Romania game.
Giammarioli, who has joined Warriors from Zebre, will win his eighth cap if he gets game time against Romania.
Giammarioli is only the second player to be capped by Italy while with Warriors, following prop Alejandro Moreno 20 years ago.
