Warriors trio set for Under 20s Six Nations decider

James Scott, Will Butler and Ted Hill face crunch match for England Under 20s

Warriors Academy trio James Scott, Will Butler and Ted Hill have been named in the England Under 20s squad for Friday’s Six Nations decider against Ireland at the Ricoh Arena (kick-off 8pm).

Scott will start in the second row for the crunch clash, while Butler and Hill are named amongst the replacements.

England are tied on 15 points with table-toppers France and will need to better France’s result against Wales on Friday or overturn a points deficit of 66 if they are to retain their title.

The fixture at the Ricoh Arena forms part of a double header, with England’s Women also in action against Ireland (kick-off 5.30pm).

England Head Coach Steve Bates said: “We had a very good performance in France in many areas but we know we can improve and we’ll be looking to do that on Friday against Ireland.

“We came into this tournament with a very clear objective to improve every game with the aim that we could win the Six Nations and we’ve now got to that point.

“However, we’re just focused now on Ireland and putting in a really strong performance that allows us to win the game and we’ll see where that leaves us at the end of the tournament.”
