TEAM NEWS | Mama returns to action for Cavaliers

Marco Mama will make his long-awaited return to action on Sunday when he lines up for Worcester Cavaliers in their Premiership Rugby A League clash with Newcastle Falcons at Kingston Park (kick-off 5pm).

Mama has been named in the back row and will make his first appearance of the campaign after sustaining an ACL injury during pre-season.

The giant forward will be joined in the back row by Ted Hill and Tom Dodd as Cavaliers go in search of their second victory in a week after defeating Sale Jets on Monday night.

Elsewhere in the forward pack, Kai Owen, Matti Williams and Joe Morris are named in the front row, while Pierce Phillips and Justin Clegg line up in the second row.

Hartpury College’s Paul Morgan and University of Bath’s George Wootten make up the half-back combination, while Will Butler will captain the side at centre alongside Alex Hearle.

The back three sees Nick David starting at full-back, while Ciaran Leeson and Tom Howe line up on the wings.

After Sunday’s clash, Cavaliers have two A League games remaining and will be back in action at Sixways when Sale Jets visit on Monday 2 April (kick-off 7.30pm) before finishing the campaign at Wasps on Monday 9 April.
